Сергій Вікторович. Фролов

Born on October 5, 1985, in the urban-type settlement of Irshansk, Volodarsko-Volynskyi (now - Khoroshivskyi) district of Zhytomyr region. In 2003, he graduated from the general education school of the urban-type settlement of Irshansk, Volodarsko-Volynskyi district. After finishing school, he worked at the Irshansk Mining and Processing Plant. In November 2003, he was drafted for compulsory military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After completing his service, he was discharged to the reserve and returned to work at the Irshansk Mining and Processing Plant. In 2011, he graduated from the correspondence department of Zhytomyr State Technological University. On June 19, 2014, he was called up for partial mobilization to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 10th separate motorized infantry battalion of the 30th separate guards mechanized brigade of Novograd-Volynskyi, Rivne, orders of the Red Banner and Suvorov of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A2960 (field post V2254), Novograd-Volynskyi, Zhytomyr region). He participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On February 9, 2015, soldier Frolov was killed as a result of a mortar shelling by Russian-terrorist groups on the positions of Ukrainian troops near the village of Hranitne in Volnovakha district of Donetsk region. Also, as a result of this shelling, senior sergeant Kovtun and junior sergeant Panasyuk were killed. On February 12, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the urban-type settlement of Irshansk, Volodarsko-Volynskyi district of Zhytomyr region.
