Сергій Вікторович. Гладкий (Сіріус)

Born on October 27, 1995, in the village of Yurky, Kozelshchyn district, Poltava region. Completed 9 grades of general education school, then attended the Reshetylivka Art Vocational College (the urban-type settlement of Reshetylivka, Poltava region), where he obtained the profession of "Artist-Painter." Lived in the village of Strabichovo, Mukachevo district, Zakarpattia region. From July 12, 2014, he served under contract in the 128th Separate Mountain Infantry Brigade of the Operational Command "West" of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1556, Mukachevo, Zakarpattia region). Call sign "Sirius." From July 24, 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. From July to September 2014, he carried out combat missions in the urban-type settlements of Lenin (since 2016 - Maria) and Heorhiivka in the Luhansk district, as well as the urban-type settlement of Rodakove in the Slovianoserbsk district of Luhansk region, where he covered the lifeline to the International Airport "Luhansk." From September to December 2014, he served at a platoon stronghold near the urban-type settlement of Stanytsia Luhanska, Luhansk region. In 2015, he participated in the battles for the city of Debaltseve, Donetsk region. From March to December 2016, he defended the village of Nevelske in the Yasynuvata district of Donetsk region, near the city of Krasnohorivka, Donetsk region. From May 2017, he served at a platoon stronghold near the urban-type settlement of Novhorodske, Toretsk city council, Donetsk region. On July 20, 2017, at 00:30, Russian-terrorist groups began shelling the positions of Ukrainian troops near the urban-type settlement of Novhorodske, Donetsk region. During the return fire, around 00:37, Junior Sergeant Hladky was killed by a sniper's bullet, receiving a gunshot wound to the head in the area of the left eye. On July 22, 2017, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Yurky, Kozelshchyn district.
