Василь Миколайович. Путаненко (Домовий)

Born on June 8, 1976, in the village of Kuzmyntsi, Kagarlyk district, Kyiv region. In 1991, he graduated from the 8th grade of the Kuzmyntsi village secondary school, and in 1994, he completed vocational technical school No. 28 in the city of Rzhyshchiv, Kyiv region (now Rzhyshchiv Professional Lyceum) with specialties in "tractor driver-machine operator of a wide profile" and "car driver." In 1994-1996, he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He underwent military training at the 31st Training Aviation Center of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A3769, city of Haisyn, Vinnytsia region). He served in a military unit of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (aviation base Baherove, Leninsky district of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea). From 1996 to 2003, he worked as a tractor driver at the collective agricultural enterprise "Slavutych" (village of Kuzmyntsi, Kagarlyk district), and after the liquidation of the farm, he worked at the "Victoria" farm (village of Velyki Prytsky, Kagarlyk district), then as a bulldozer operator at the Limited Liability Company "Kuzmyntsi Brick Factory" (village of Kuzmyntsi, Kagarlyk district), and since December 2011, he has been a security guard at the Private Joint Stock Company "Confectionery Factory 'Lahoda'" (city of Kagarlyk). On August 4, 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the Kagarlyk District Military Commissariat of Kyiv region. He served as a service member of the 40th Tactical Aviation Brigade of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1789, city of Vasylkiv, Kyiv region). Since April 6, 2015, as part of the consolidated detachment of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine "Wild Duck," he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On April 13, 2015, around 9:00 AM, during another shelling of Ukrainian positions at the "Zenith" checkpoint near the city of Avdiivka, Donetsk region, a fragment of a 120-millimeter shell hit ammunition boxes in the dugout where the servicemen were located. As a result of the explosion, 5 fighters from the consolidated detachment of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine "Wild Duck" were killed, including Sergeant Vasyl Putanenko. The identification of Vasyl Putanenko's body was conducted through DNA testing. On September 12, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Kuzmyntsi, Kagarlyk district, Kyiv region.
