Віктор Степанович. Ткачук

Born on August 5, 1976, in the urban-type settlement of Tsumany, Kivertsi district, Volyn region. In 1993, he graduated from the general education school of the urban-type settlement of Tsumany. On August 2, 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the Kivertsi district military commissariat of the Volyn region. He served as a cook in the supply company of the 128th separate mountain infantry brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1778 (field post V4673), city of Mukacheve, Transcarpathian region). He participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. Call sign "Komday." He was involved in the battles for the city of Debaltseve in the Donetsk region. On August 21, 2015, soldier Tkachuk was killed when he detonated an anti-personnel mine while delivering drinking water to the checkpoint "Zhiga," 15 kilometers from the city of Shchastia in the Novoaidar district of Luhansk region. On August 24, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the urban-type settlement of Tsumany, Kivertsi district, Volyn region.
