    • Biography

      Народився в 1978 році у с. Тягун на Вінничині, громадянин України.
      Воював за нашу Батьківщину у складі 34-го окремого мотопіхотного батальйону 57-ї окремої мотопіхотної бригади ЗС України у званні старшого сержанта.
      Помер 19 листопада 2015 р. від поранення, отриманого в зоні проведення АТО.
      Похований на цвинтарі рідного села.
      Указом Президента України № 9/2016 від 16.01.2016 р. посмертно нагороджений орденом «За мужність» III ступеня.

      • Born on August 10, 1978, in the village of Tyahun, Illinetsky District, Vinnytsia Oblast. Graduated from a general education school. In July 2015, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a squad commander in the 34th Separate Motorized Infantry Battalion of the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit field post V5509). From summer to autumn 2015, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. In November 2015, Senior Sergeant Shishko sustained a severe shrapnel wound to the head during a shelling by militants of the battalion's positions near the urban-type settlement of Zaytseve in the Horlivka City Council (now in the Bakhmut District) of Donetsk Oblast. As a result of the injury, the serviceman fell into a coma. Volodymyr Shishko was transported to the Military Clinical Center of the Northern Region (military unit A3306, Kharkiv), where he never regained consciousness and died on November 19, 2015, from his injuries. On November 21, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Tyahun, Illinetsky District, Vinnytsia Oblast.
