Володимир Володимирович. Тарадай

29-year-old senior soldier Volodymyr Taradai was killed on January 23, 2024 near the village of Tabaivka in the Kharkiv region. While carrying out a combat mission, he sustained fatal injuries as a result of a hostile FPV drone hitting the defenders' vehicle. Volodymyr was born in the city of Chasiv Yar, Donetsk region. He graduated from the Sloviansk State Agrarian Technical School. He worked for some time at the company "Firma Dnipro-Kontrakt". He was passionate about cars. In January 2019, he decided to change his field of activity and signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He carried out combat missions in the area of the Joint Forces Operation. During the full-scale war, he continued to defend his country from the occupiers. He held the position of senior driver of the automotive and technical unit in military unit A1872. "My husband was a bright person, always smiling, sensitive. For me, this is a great loss, because I lost my soul..." said Maryna Taradai. The military was buried in the Alley of Heroes of the cemetery in the city of Kamianske, Dnipropetrovsk region. The defender is survived by his parents, brother, and wife. Volodymyr Taradai was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
