Михайло Віталійович. Козлов

Born on November 26, 1985, in the city of Mykolaiv. Graduated from secondary school No. 46 in Mykolaiv and a biblical college in the city of Pershotravensk, Dnipropetrovsk region. Lived in the city of Zaporizhzhia, where he created a rehabilitation center in a Protestant church. On August 7, 2014, mobilized by the Leninsky District Military Commissariat of Mykolaiv into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Underwent military training at the 169th Training Center of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0665, the urban-type settlement of Desna, Kozelets district, Chernihiv region). Served as a senior gunner of the grenade launcher platoon of the 2nd mechanized battalion of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A2167, the city of Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region). Since 2014, participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On September 24, 2014, at approximately 18:35, while on a mission in secrecy, soldier Kozlov received fatal injuries as a result of an explosive device detonated by unknown individuals on a path located about 2 kilometers north of the village of Starohnativka in the Telmaniv district (since December 2014 - Volnovakha district) of Donetsk region. Buried in Mykolaiv.
