- Born on January 9, 1969, in the city of Berdychiv, Zhytomyr region. In 1984, he graduated from the 9th grade of secondary school No. 10 in Berdychiv. In 1987, he graduated from vocational technical school No. 4 in Berdychiv, specializing as a "repairman locksmith." From 1987 to 1989, he served in the Soviet Armed Forces. He served in the 366th Guards Motor Rifle Mozir Red Banner Order of Suvorov Regiment (military unit 18920 - city of Stepanakert, Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Region of the Azerbaijan SSR). In 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 54th Separate Guards Reconnaissance Pruzhany-Pomeranian Battalion, awarded the Orders of Alexander Nevsky, Bohdan Khmelnytskyi of the 3rd degree, and Mikhail Kutuzov of the 3rd degree of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A2076 - city of Novograd-Volynskyi, Zhytomyr region). Since the summer of 2014, he participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation in eastern Ukraine. On January 25, 2015, Sergeant Venger was killed in battle for the stronghold "Valera" (height 307.5) near the village of Sanzharivka in the Artemivsk (now Bakhmut) district of Donetsk region during the fighting for the city of Debaltseve. As a result of the battle, Ukrainian troops repelled the attack of Russian-terrorist groups on the stronghold and destroyed two T-64 tanks, one T-72 tank, and a significant number of enemy personnel. They also managed to capture the driver-mechanic of one of the knocked-out tanks. Unfortunately, in this battle, 7 defenders of the "Valera" stronghold were killed. On February 1, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the urban-type settlement of Gryshkivtsi, Berdychiv district, Zhytomyr region. On February 20, 2015, a memorial plaque was installed in Berdychiv on the facade of secondary school No. 10 (Shelushkova Street, 4), where Oleksandr Venger studied. On June 25, 2015, during the regular 66th session of the Berdychiv City Council, a decision was made to rename the 3rd Shelushkova Lane to Oleksandr Venger Street.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
