- Soldier Andriy Kanibolotskyi (call sign Revo) died on September 2, 2024, during enemy artillery shelling near the village of Staromaiorsʼke in the Donetsk region. The defender was 48 years old. Andriy was born in the village of Dmytrivka, Dnipropetrovsk region. He grew up in Donetsk, where he finished school and studied as a painter at a technical school. Later, he obtained the profession of a cook-baker in Kyiv. He then served in the naval forces. He loved football and supported the Shakhtar (Donetsk) team. He adored music and had a large collection of discs. He liked to spend his free time with friends and was very sociable. Before the full-scale invasion, he worked at the Dnipropetrovsk mine. In June 2024, the man went to defend his country from the enemy. He served in the 129th separate brigade of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a driver-gunner. "My dad was a positive person, he cared for his loved ones, and had a lot of friends. I was never sad with him, he could support and cheer me up in any situation. Before he went to the front, he helped the military. He loved animals, and he had a cat that my dad once saved. He was sincere and honest, brave and determined, and always showed his love for me, we were very close. I still can't believe this happened to us," shared the fallen soldier's daughter. Andriy was buried in his native village of Dmytrivka. At home, his daughter Karyna and grandson David were waiting for him.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
