Nebor Andriy Ihorovych was born on October 4, 1979, in the urban-type settlement of Volodymyrets, Varash district, Rivne region. His father at that time worked as a dental technician, and his mother was a housewife. When Andriy was four years old, the family returned to the city of Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region. There, the boy's childhood and youth passed. At school, Andriy was a diligent student and was friends with everyone. He loved history and physics as academic subjects. After the 9th grade, he enrolled in the Kalush Higher Vocational School No. 7, where he acquired the qualifications of a manual arc welder, gas welder, operator of automatic and semi-automatic welding machines, and a manual blacksmith. At the vocational school, he was engaged in freestyle wrestling, tourism, catamaran swimming, and mountaineering. After the family moved to Ivano-Frankivsk in 1997, he was drafted into military service in the training unit "Desna," where he acquired the specialty of commander of a communication command and staff vehicle. After completing his training at "Desna," he was sent to a military unit in Bila Tserkva, where Andriy continued his service as a platoon commander of a communication platoon and a senior calculator of a mortar battery. After being discharged from the military, Andriy worked as a security guard and driver. In 2003, he married his beloved Liudmyla. They lived in Ivano-Frankivsk. In 2009, their daughter Anhelina was born. Andriy proved himself to be a good, reliable husband and loving father. They lived in a happy marriage for 19 years. He often repeated: "One must live each day as if it were the last, for life is short..." When the threat of war loomed in 2014, Andriy Nebor received a summons. A friend suggested that he join the ranks of the Ivano-Frankivsk Volunteer Battalion, a special police patrol unit. Agreeing, Andriy Nebor participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) until 2018. He was a sniper. During his service, he gained invaluable experience, combat skills, and loyal friends. On the first day of the full-scale Russian invasion, Andriy, like most of the military from their battalion, returned to service and went on patrol. On April 1, 2022, he received a summons, and on April 14, he set off for Eastern Ukraine as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From April 14 to May 31, 2022, Andriy carried out combat missions, and he only saw his family once via video call. Volunteers did not reach them. The conditions were difficult. They held the city of Rubizhne, then they were withdrawn across the river. On May 29, Andriy Nebor last called his wife. They talked for a long time about everything. Andriy promised to call back. He did not call back... Andriy Nebor died on May 31, 2022, from a sniper's bullet near the village of Pryvilla, Luhansk region. The funeral took place on June 9, 2022, in Ivano-Frankivsk.
