Biography
Ishchenko Anton Viktorovych was born on August 6, 1968 in the city of Zaporizhzhia. He graduated from Zaporizhzhia Secondary School No. 31. In 1985, he entered the Faculty of Chemistry at Dnipro National University, which he graduated from in 1992. During his studies, Anton was drafted for military service: in 1987-1989 he held the position of operator of the anti-aircraft missile system. After Ukraine's independence, many enterprises stopped operating, so it was extremely difficult to find a job in his specialty. Because of this, Anton Viktorovych also obtained a second higher education in the specialty "Economics" at the Zaporizhzhia State Engineering Academy. He worked in the banking sector for over 20 years: at Privatbank and UkrSibbank, going from an ordinary employee to the head of a group of UkrSibbank branches. The last two years he held the position of chief state auditor of the control department in the agricultural sector, ecology and environmental management of the Eastern Office of the State Audit Service in the Zaporizhzhia region. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, Anton Ishchenko went to the military enlistment office, and from the first days of the war he was at the front. He was sent to the National Guard, to the 9th Regiment of Special Purpose, where he held the position of specialist - operator of the howitzer self-propelled artillery division. He was sent to defend the Zaporizhzhia airport. In May 2022, he was transferred to an airborne unit that participated in the battles for Malinivka and Uspeniivka in the Donetsk direction. A month later, Anton Ishchenko was returned to the Zaporizhzhia direction, to the village of Kamianske. He was killed on July 14, 2022 as a result of the explosion of an enemy shell. He was buried at the Osypenkivskyi cemetery in Zaporizhzhia. He is survived by his wife, three children, father and brother.Burial place
