Bohdan O. Khokhlenkov (Pentahon)

Bohdан Oleksаndrovych Khokhlenkov was born on April 8, 1992 in Mariupol. He graduated from the Priаzovskyi State Technical University. He was involved in sports, a candidate for the title of sports master in water polo. During his studies, he joined the movement of fans of the Mariupol football club, and later became a participant in the closed fan collective "Project 32". Bohdаn began defending Ukrainian land from Russian invaders in 2015 in the Аzov battalion. At first, he served in the artillery division, and later transferred to the mortar battery of the 2nd operational battalion of the special purpose unit "Аzov". On February 24, 2022, he met in his hometown, taking part in the defense of Mariupol. On March 22, 2022, during the battle, he received a gunshot wound. He spent three days on the territory of the Аzovstal metallurgical plant. Later, together with other seriously wounded, he was evacuated to the hospital in Dnipro, where he died on March 28, 2022 from complications of the wound. Bohdаn Khokhlenkov is survived by his wife and daughter.
