Bohdan V. Lozovyi

Bohdan Vitaliiovych Lozovyi was born in 1998 in the city of Brody, Lviv region. After graduating from school in 2015, he entered the Ivan Kozhedub Kharkiv National University of the Air Force of Ukraine. He graduated in 2020. He served in the 16th separate aviation brigade. He was a participant in the ATO and the JFO. He managed to participate in the peacekeeping mission in Congo. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Bohdan, along with the crew of the Mi-8 helicopter, carried out about 1000 combat sorties. He destroyed a large number of enemy personnel in Donetsk, near Kyiv, Chernihiv, Kherson, Zhytomyr, Mykolaiv, and Zaporizhzhia. He died on July 13, 2022, as a result of a Russian cruise missile hitting the helicopter. The hero was buried in the city of Brody, Lviv region.
