Denys V. Kotenko (Shkiper)

Denis Valeriyovych Kotenko was born on May 18, 1996. He led the National Corps in the city of Dnipro. As a volunteer with the Azov Special Operations Unit, he participated in the battles for the liberation of the village of Shyrokyne in Donetsk region. In 2021-2022, he worked in the press service of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine. On February 24, 2022, after the start of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, he once again took up arms to defend his homeland as part of the 3rd Separate Battalion of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army. He was killed on March 24, 2022, in battles for the city of Kyiv. He was buried on March 31, 2022, in the city of Dnipro.
