Biography
A graduate of the Odesa Law Institute, Denys Viktorovych began his service in 2002 as a district officer in Vinnytsia, later heading the public safety police of the Tyvriv district department. Over time, the young promising officer was entrusted with responsible work in the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Colleagues valued him for his optimism, integrity, good nature, friendliness, and readiness to help at any moment. He was also a sincere patriot of Ukraine, a good son and brother, and a loving husband. Major Zhembrovskyi was among the first Vinnytsia law enforcement officers who, as part of a combined unit, went to Eastern Ukraine in May 2014 and served at checkpoints near the then-occupied city of Sloviansk by terrorists. For his second deployment to the ATO zone, Denys Viktorovych requested to go instead of a colleague who had two small children—Zhembrovskyi insisted that he should go to the front because he had not yet become a father himself…Military service
