Dmytro B. Matviienko (Krasapentii)

Matviienko Dmytro Borysovych was born on May 13, 1981 in Kharkiv. In 1999, he graduated from Hadiach Higher Vocational Agricultural School. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, he voluntarily joined the ranks of the National Guard of Ukraine. He held the position of head of the telecommunications networks and information systems group of the communications platoon of the 1st operational battalion of the NGU named after Serhii Kulchytskyi. From the first days, he took part in the defense of Kharkiv. He was killed on January 23, 2023 during a firefight near the city of Bakhmut in Donetsk region. He was buried on January 26, 2023 in the cemetery of the village of Bobryk, Poltava region.
