- Born on March 18, 1988, in the city of Uzyn, Bilozerkivskyi district of Kyiv region. Graduated from general education school No. 1 in the city of Uzyn, in 2006 - Bilozerkivskyi Professional Lyceum (city of Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region) with a specialty in "automobile repair mechanic." Served mandatory military service in the 169th Training Center of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0665, the urban-type settlement of Desna, Kozelets district, Chernihiv region). On August 1, 2014, mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Served as a service number in the 40th Tactical Aviation Brigade of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1789, city of Vasylkiv, Kyiv region). From November 5, 2014, as part of the consolidated detachment of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine "Wild Duck," participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. Call sign "Old Man." On April 13, 2015, around 9:00 AM, during another shelling of Ukrainian positions at the "Zenith" checkpoint near the city of Avdiivka, Donetsk region, a fragment of a 120-millimeter shell hit boxes of ammunition in the dugout where the servicemen were located. As a result of the explosion, 5 fighters from the consolidated detachment of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine "Wild Duck" were killed, including soldier Dmytro Hura. The identification of Dmytro Hura's body was conducted through DNA testing.
