- Paratrooper Dmytro Bidyuk was killed on March 29, 2022 in a battle with the occupiers near the village of Oleksandrivka in the Kherson region. The defender was forever 22 years old. Dmytro was from the city of Odesa. He studied at city school No. 23. Then he obtained the profession of an electrician at the Odesa vocational school. He served his military service in the ranks of the Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, defending the maroon beret. He worked as a security guard at the "Western" company. He was fond of sports, loved football and basketball. He planned to travel the world with his beloved. He dreamed of starting his own family and had already begun to build a house for this, but did not have time to finish it. On the second day of the full-scale Russian invasion, on February 25, 2022, he went to the military enlistment office. Later he joined the ranks of the 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign. He took the position of a grenade launcher and went to defend the Kherson region. "From childhood he was a calm, kind, polite guy, he never had conflicts, he loved children. He was a brave warrior, he was not afraid of anything. When he went to war, he said: "Mom, who if not us? We need to defend ourselves, they are crawling here like cockroaches." And he was killed. In the offensive on March 29 in Kherson, two companies of soldiers were killed. Using aviation, the enemy knocked out the positions where there were many warriors... Everything in life stopped when I felt his death. After that I don't see anything or anyone. Nothing pleases me anymore, there will never be a life as before. Never. He is my Hero forever. I am grateful to him for these 22 years of his life. He taught me a lot," said the mother of the fallen Iryna. The young warrior was buried at the Western Cemetery in his native Odesa. Dmytro is survived by his mother, younger brother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, other relatives, friends and comrades-in-arms.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
