Dmytro V. Riabyi (Riaba)

Born on November 8, 1992, in the urban-type settlement of Dobrovelychkivka, Dobrovelychkivskyi district, Kirovohrad region. In 2008, he graduated from the 9th grade of the general education boarding school (since 2013 - specialized general education boarding school) in the urban-type settlement of Dobrovelychkivka, and in 2011 - from the Pishchanobrodskiy Professional Agrarian Lyceum (village of Pishchanyi Brid, Dobrovelychkivskyi district, Kirovohrad region). In 2012-2013, he served in the Military Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since 2013, he served under contract in the 3rd Separate Special Purpose Regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0680, city of Kirovohrad (now Kropyvnytskyi)). Since the spring of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On July 15, 2014, Senior Soldier Ryabyi was killed during a mortar shelling near the village of Provallya in Sverdlovsk district (since 2016 - Dovzhanskyi) of Luhansk region. Along with him, Colonel Kovalenko, Senior Sergeant Alekseev, Junior Sergeant Karavaisky, Senior Soldier Benderov, Senior Soldier Maiseev, Senior Soldier Verbovyi, and Senior Soldier Markov were killed. On September 4, 2014, he was buried at the Alley of Glory in the cemetery of the urban-type settlement of Dobrovelychkivka. On May 8, 2015, a memorial plaque was opened in the urban-type settlement of Dobrovelychkivka on the facade of the specialized general education boarding school (Shevchenka Street, 112), and on October 21, 2015, in the village of Pishchanyi Brid, Dobrovelychkivskyi district, on the facade of the Pishchanobrodskiy Professional Agrarian Lyceum (Dzerzhynskyi Street, 1), where Dmytro Ryabyi studied.
