- Born on July 19, 1991, in the village of Oleksiivka, Bobrynets district, Kirovohrad region. In 2009, he graduated from the general education school in the village of Oleksiivka, Bobrynets district, and in 2010 - from the Kirovohrad Technical School of Agricultural Mechanization. From 2010 to 2011, he served in the mandatory military service in the 3rd Separate Special Purpose Regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0680, Kirovohrad city (now Kropyvnytskyi)). Since 2011, he continued to serve under a contract. From the spring of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On July 15, 2014, Senior Soldier Verbovyi was killed during a mortar shelling near the village of Provallya in Sverdlovsk district (since 2016 - Dovzhanskyi) of Luhansk region. Along with him, Colonel Kovalenko, Senior Sergeant Alekseev, Junior Sergeant Karavaiskyi, Senior Soldier Benderov, Senior Soldier Maiseiev, Senior Soldier Riabyi, and Senior Soldier Markov were killed. In September 2014, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Oleksiivka, Bobrynets district. On November 10, 2015, a memorial plaque was unveiled in the village of Oleksiivka, Bobrynets district, on the facade of the general education school (Oleksiivska Street, 6), where Maksym Verbovyi studied.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
