Biography
Fedir Stepanovych Kotuziak was born on May 7, 1980 in the village of Vorulintsi, Zalishchyky district, Ternopil region. He graduated from the Odesa Institute of Land Forces. He served in the cities of Skala-Podilska and Chernivtsi. He worked as a district police officer in the Zalishchyky district police department. After a long treatment due to an accident in 2008, he was dismissed on health grounds. He was a participant in the Revolution of Dignity. With the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine and after being denied by the local military enlistment office due to his health condition, he went to the capital, where in early April he joined the ranks of the 242nd battalion of the 241st separate brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces. From there, he went to the front. He was the commander of a platoon of the fire support company. He was killed on July 8, 2022 in the Kharkiv region. He was buried on September 18, 2022 in Zalishchyky. He left behind a wife and daughter.Burial place
