- 31-year-old Junior Sergeant Ihor Vlasov (call sign Oslo) was killed on February 12, 2024 near the village of Ivanivske in the Donetsk region. During fierce battles, he and his group were carrying out a combat mission. The military bravely held the defense, but the enemy was breaking their positions, constantly using artillery and FPV drones. Ihor sustained a concussion. He tried to evacuate the body of a killed comrade, but at that moment he was caught by an enemy FPV drone. Ihor was from the city of Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region. He studied at the Kostiantynivka College of the Luhansk National Agrarian University. Later, he obtained a higher education at the Bakhmut Educational and Scientific Vocational and Pedagogical Institute of the Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy, majoring in "Vocational Education and Occupational Safety". He was fond of computer games and interested in information technology. Since 2018, he worked at the State Archives of the Donetsk region. He digitized and published documents from the archival funds, allowing all interested people to freely use the documents on the Internet. He was involved in collecting information about the Russian-Ukrainian war since 2014. In March 2023, the man was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After training, he held the position of instructor of the training repair platoon of the training company for the training of technical support specialists of the 138th training battalion of material support. He learned quickly and mastered new skills, enjoying the respect of his comrades-in-arms. "Ihor was a wonderful person: cheerful, kind, sincere, sensitive. He had many friends and acquaintances, always was in the spotlight. He loved his family very much and especially his little nephew Artem, whom he later became the godfather of. Ihor was never deprived of female attention, but his heart always belonged to only one - his beloved wife Yana. It is impossible to heal the pain and bitterness of losing a loved one, but may the good, bright memories become stronger than death and forever remain in the memory of relatives, colleagues, friends, comrades-in-arms, all who knew Ihor, loved and respected him," shared the memories of his sister Marharyta. The warrior was buried on the Alley of Heroes of the Krasnopilskyi military cemetery in Dnipro. Ihor is survived by his mother, wife, sister and nephew.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
