Ihor Valeriyovych Motorco was born on April 18, 1985, in Mykolaiv Oblast. There, he completed 9 grades of a general education school. In 2002, he graduated from 11 grades of the local general education school of I–III degrees. From 2002 to 2004, he served in the military in Sumy, later signing a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After the contract ended, he returned home. During the war in Eastern Ukraine, he was mobilized on April 28, 2015. He served in the newly formed 301st Road and Commandant Battalion of the 47th Separate Engineer Brigade in Dubno. He served in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO), defending the Donetsk direction until 2018. As a combat participant, he signed a contract for another 6 months, holding the position of ambulance driver in the medical company of the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade. For his valiant military service, he was repeatedly awarded certificates and thanks from the command. He was awarded the medal "Participant of the ATO," the medal "Defender of the Native Land," and the Presidential Award of Ukraine "For Participation in the Anti-Terrorist Operation." In May 2021, Ihor Motorco signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine again. With the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he was on the front line. He was killed on March 20, 2022, in Luhansk Oblast as a result of a massive artillery shelling. The farewell ceremony for the fallen soldier took place on March 26, 2022, in the village where he lived. For personal courage and selfless actions demonstrated in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and loyalty to the military oath, Senior Sergeant Ihor Valeriyovych Motorco was posthumously awarded the Order "For Courage" of the III degree.Burial place
