- Senior soldier Ivan Synytskyi (call sign Senya) was killed on March 25, 2023 near the city of Kreminna in the Luhansk region. In the battle with the enemy, he suffered a fatal explosive injury. The warrior was 25 years old. Ivan was born in the village of Makarivka, Zhytomyr region, in a large family. He studied at the Berdychiv Higher Vocational School. He was fond of sports, engaged in calisthenics. He taught young people and instilled in them a love for an active lifestyle. He participated in competitions and won many times. During his studies, he worked as an administrator in a hotel in Berdychiv. In 2022, he took a job at the agricultural enterprise "Signet Center" as a weigher at an elevator. He proved himself to be a responsible and reliable employee, so he was promoted to a grain wagon loading operator. In June 2022, the man was drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After training, Ivan joined the ranks of the 95th separate airborne assault brigade. He held the position of senior flamethrower of the flamethrower platoon of the radiation, chemical, and biological defense company. For his service, the soldier was awarded the "Badge of Honor" and the Order of Courage of the III degree (posthumously). "Ivanko was a special child, a favorite of all the children. Kind, intelligent, sincere, reliable, brave. He loved life, his family, and was a true patriot. He never refused to help anyone, never left anyone in trouble. He had a positive attitude towards life. He will forever remain in our hearts. Eternal glory. Eternal memory," the defender's mother wrote. The paratrooper was buried in his native village. Ivan is survived by his mother Maria Georgiyivna, father Viktor Grigorovich, sisters Yulia, Victoria and Angelina, and brother Vasyl.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
