Kateryna V. Noskova (Ket)

Born on April 23, 1989, in the city of Znamianka, Kirovohrad region. Graduated from general education school No. 2 in Znamianka, then from Znamianka Vocational Lyceum with a specialty in "confectioner." Lived in the urban-type settlement of Znamianka Druha, Znamianka City Council. Worked as a postal worker at post office No. 2 "Ukrposhta" in the settlement of Znamianka Druha. On February 18, 2015, voluntarily enlisted in the contract service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Served as a senior telephone operator in the communications unit of the 17th separate motorized infantry battalion of the 57th separate motorized infantry brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit field post V2304). Since February 2015, participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. Call sign "Ket." On August 16, 2015, senior soldier Noskova was killed during a mortar shelling of Ukrainian military positions near the city of Horlivka, Donetsk region. Along with her, soldier Viktor Pronin was killed. On August 19, 2015, she was buried in the cemetery of the city of Znamianka, Kirovohrad region.
