- Sergeant Kostiantyn Holos (call sign Lipila) was killed on June 19, 2024 while carrying out a combat mission between the villages of Kyslyvka and Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region. Two days before this, the warrior had turned 34 years old. Kostiantyn was born in Baranovychi (Belarus). But he grew up and lived in Ivano-Frankivsk. He graduated from the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, where he mastered the specialty of radio and telecommunications engineer. In civilian life, he worked as a crane operator at the "Beton-Budservis" company. At the beginning of the full-scale war, the man joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 48th Kamianets-Podilskyi Engineering Brigade. He was a medic and a sapper. During his service, he received the awards "Iron Cross" and "For Honor". Lipila in slang means a doctor. Comrades-in-arms said that Kostiantyn "patched up" (treated) both people and animals. "At the front, Kostiantyn was respected, he was valued as a specialist. Over the year, he rose from a private to a sergeant. In the platoon, he was the third in command. Comrades-in-arms remember him as a very brave and responsible fighter. They asked: "Where does all this courage come from?". He replied: "I'm afraid every time, but I have to do the job, defend the motherland." They say that Kostya always worked harder than others, because, while performing combat missions on par with everyone, he was equipped with a combat medic backpack and always had evacuation stretchers on him. He was a kind and sensitive person, he treated both comrades-in-arms and animals. Himself, concussed 5 times, with frostbitten limbs, he did not take sick leave, treated himself, did not want to leave his comrades-in-arms. Throughout the war, he was on leave twice for 10 days. He was very saddened by the loss of every fighter... He was a non-conflictual, very fair person. He did not want to fight, but when he received the summons, he went without hesitation. He said: "Mom, I'll come back as a Hero"... He went through the toughest hot spots: Luhansk, Donetsk, Lysychansk, Bakhmut, the liberation of Kherson, the hellish battles in Soledar, Kupiansk. And he was killed in battle in the Kharkiv direction," the deceased's sister said. The defender was buried in the Alley of Heroes of the Chukaliv Cemetery in Ivano-Frankivsk. At home, Kostiantyn was awaited by his mother Alla Volodymyrivna, grandmother Raisa Ivanivna and sister Olena.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
