- 29-year-old soldier Kostiantyn Kozlovets (call sign Kasper) was killed on April 26, 2023 near the settlement of Bilohirivka in the Luhansk region. While performing his duties, the soldier, along with his comrade, came under enemy mortar fire. As a result of a direct hit of a shell in the trench, Kostiantyn was killed, and his comrade was wounded. Kostiantyn was born in the village of Kamianka, Zhytomyr region. He lived in the village of Kadomka in the Kyiv region. He studied at the Chernihiv Industrial and Pedagogical University. He loved nature. He was passionate about cars and bought a car in 2022. He ran his own business - a bakery kiosk in Kyiv. He was dating a girl with whom he planned to start a family after returning from the war. During the full-scale war, the man became a serviceman of the 81st Separate Airmobile Brigade of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of squad commander. He was a reliable comrade. He conscientiously and responsibly carried out tasks at the front. Kostiantyn's family was informed of his death on May 1, 2023, after they were able to recover his body. That day, his parents were to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary, but his father, a veteran of the ATO, had was killed in a car accident a year earlier. And for Kostiantyn's mother, it was a sad day. The news of her son's death became an even more terrible news. "Our Kostik was a very good, kind, sincere and smiling person. Always positive. He fought devotedly and courageously. During his time at war, he saved a comrade with the call sign Shved. When he was wounded in the head, Kostia called for help. The wounded were carried on stretchers for 4 kilometers under fire. They were saved thanks to a timely and quick response. At war, Kostiantyn kept a diary. Unfortunately, it was not returned to us, possibly lost in the trench after the shelling. Everyone loved Kostiantyn very much and miss him greatly. No one can believe that he is no longer with us. He was a brave warrior and a man with a capital letter. When we asked him to be careful and not go out first, he still continued to shell the enemy day and night. He told us: 'I'm ready for anything. If not us - them, then they - us.' His loss has been painful for everyone who knew him," said the warrior's sister. Kostiantyn was buried in his native village next to his father. The defender is survived by his mother Valentyna Mykolaivna and sister Liudmyla.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
