- 31-year-old senior lieutenant Kostiantyn Mochulskyi (call sign Fint) was killed on September 5, 2022 while performing a combat mission near Kurakhove in the Donetsk region. The officer, along with his comrades, came under enemy missile fire. Kostiantyn was born in the village of Malakivshchyna, Khmilnytskyi region. In 2013, he graduated from the Odesa National Academy of Telecommunications named after Oleksandr Popov. There he studied at the military department and received the rank of junior lieutenant in reserve. He worked at the international IT company "VAIMO". He lived in Poland for about 5 years. When he returned to Ukraine, he settled in Kyiv. From childhood, he was passionate about football. Then he engaged in boxing. He loved active recreation and travel. He visited almost all the cities of Ukraine. He visited Italy, the Czech Republic, Germany, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Bulgaria, Estonia, and Poland. After the war, he dreamed of renting a car and traveling around Europe for a month or two. During the full-scale Russian invasion, Kostiantyn joined the ranks of the 68th Separate Jaeger Brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush. He was the deputy commander of the unit, and later became the commander of the communication platoon. Since March, he has been carrying out combat missions in the Donetsk region along with his comrades. "Kostya loved life and new experiences. He had everything planned a month in advance: concerts, theaters, football matches at the Olympic Stadium, boxing, hockey, travel, trips. He had many friends in different cities and countries, and he always had time for everyone. And he also loved and valued his family very much. He was always with them at Christmas and Easter. He dreamed of starting his own family. Kostya loved our Ukraine very much. He was always proud to be Ukrainian," said the sister of the fallen Alona. "At the time of the full-scale Russian invasion, Kostya was on a business trip in London. He could have stayed there legally. But already in early March, after finishing his work, he returned to Ukraine. And a few days later he went to the military enlistment office as a volunteer. During six months of service, thanks to social networks, Kostya and his comrades from the communication unit raised 1 million 800 thousand hryvnias for the material support of their brigade. Comrades describe Kostiantyn as a true leader, a brave and courageous commander who inspired. He repeatedly went on dangerous missions himself, although he could have just given the order. A worthy son of his country, deserving of the highest awards. Unfortunately, now posthumously," Alona added. The defender was buried on the Alley of Glory of the city cemetery in Khmilnytskyi. Kostiantyn is survived by his parents and sister.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
