- Junior Sergeant Yevhen Tulin (call sign Zorya) was killed on September 5, 2022, during a missile strike in the area of Bohoyavlenka village in Donetsk region. The defender was 49 years old. Yevhen was born in Kyiv. He graduated from the Kyiv Technical School of Hotel Management. For the last 15 years, he worked as a sales manager of automotive accessories. He was a professional in his field primarily due to his human qualities - attentive to everyone, empathetic. Zhenya became a part of the lives of many people. He was a true friend - honest, always ready to help, with an extraordinary sense of humor. He loved to cook and host guests. He adored giving flowers and making surprises. He was fascinated by history, loved historical films and books. He traveled around Ukraine and various countries with great pleasure. When the full-scale war began, Yevhen took up the defense of Ukraine. He was the head of the communications department of the 68th separate Yager brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush. "He went to war as a volunteer. That's what his conscience told him to do. And he couldn't have done otherwise." His comrades-in-arms remember: although Zhenya was older than them, he never complained. He bravely endured the horrors of war. He had big plans for life: to celebrate his 50th birthday loudly in the circle of family and friends, to fly to the ocean, to move to his own house, to marry off his daughters and play with grandchildren. "I am happy that I had such a man: courageous, worthy, loving, caring and reliable. These were the best 27 years of my life, next to my husband," said his wife Tetiana. "Yevhen was always sincere, open to communication, and at work he was always a friend. Zhenya will forever remain in our memory as a 49-year-old, brave, honest, loving, friendly..." - said his colleagues. Yevhen was buried at the Berkovetsky cemetery in his native Kyiv. The defender left behind a mother, wife and two daughters.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
