- Senior Warrant Officer Maksym Sirosh (call sign Septon, Chubchyk) died on July 13, 2022 near the city of Siversk in the Donetsk region. He saved his battalion in a battle with the occupiers at the cost of his own life. The hero was forever 37 years old. Maksym was born in Kyiv. He graduated from school No. 168. Then he entered the customs and legal faculty of the Kyiv Technical School of Hotel Management. But he did not finish his studies, as he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In 2003-2004 he served in Bila Tserkva. Then for 2 years he worked as a sushi cook at the SUSHIYA studio. In 2006, he went to work for the State Protection Service. In 2011, he graduated from the National Pedagogical University named after M.P. Drahomanov. He received a bachelor's degree in political science. In 2019, he resigned from the State Protection Service with the rank of Senior Warrant Officer. That same year, he graduated from the acting school of the SPLASH theater studio. He worked on a freelance basis in the creative association "Khort", engaged in stunt work, organizing historical festivals and events, made ammunition and decorations for cinema. He also worked as a security guard at the "Kyiv Temple of Krishna Consciousness" organization during this period. He loved fishing, was actively involved in historical fencing and historical stylization. On the eve of the invasion, he got a job at the company "DeWALT Ukraine". After February 24, 2022, the man went as a volunteer to defend his Homeland. He joined the ranks of the 25th Separate Rifle Battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of senior sergeant - commander of a machine gun platoon of a rifle company. For worthy military service, he was awarded the medals "Honor. Glory. State" and "For Military Service to Ukraine" (posthumously), the commemorative sign "For Courage" (posthumously). "Maksym was always a very kind and honest person, respected those around him, friends, and greatly honored his parents. He always tried to help those in need. He was a very reliable friend and always tried to bring positivity and encourage everyone, even in difficult conditions. He was a responsible soldier and always cared about the needs of the personnel," said his brother Yevhen. The defender was buried at the Forest Cemetery in the capital. Maksym is survived by his parents Olena Fedorivna and Yurii Volodymyrovych, his brother Yevhen and his son Tymofii.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
