Biography
Mykhailo Mykhailovych Savchuk was born on September 13, 1989, in the city of Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region. His mother, Olena Petrivna Savchuk, is an engineer, and his father, Mykhailo Mykolayovych Savchuk, is a lawyer. Mykhailo was the youngest in the family, had an older sister, and grew up in love and harmony. He found learning easy and was also good at playing football. His grandparents were participants in World War II. His grandfather had the orders of the "Red Star" (2) and "Red Banner." Therefore, Mykhailo grew up with memories of the war, heroism, and understood what homeland means, how it should be loved, and what family is and how it should be protected. He graduated from school and entered the Kramatorsk Economic Academy. After graduating from the academy, he went to work at a bank and then served in the military. After his conscription service, he studied at Vasyl Stus Donetsk National University in Vinnytsia, where he obtained higher legal education, passed the selection competition for special forces, and went to work there. Since the beginning of the war in 2014, he was a volunteer in the "Golden Gates" battalion. Since October 2015, he served in the National Guard of Ukraine, Special Operations Unit "Azov." He was repeatedly awarded medals, orders, and personalized weapons. In the fall of 2021, he received an extraordinary rank of major, which he was very proud of, as his grandfather and father were also majors. In 2017, he got married. In 2019, a daughter, Yaroslav, was born to the couple. Mykhailo loved his family, but above all, he adored his little daughter, to whom he dedicated all his free time. His life was cut short on March 8, 2022, during the defense of the city of Mariupol.Burial place
