Mykhailo S. Diadiura (Vedmid)

Mikhaylo Dyadyura (call sign Bear) was killed on September 11, 2022. Near the urban-type settlement of Bilohorivka, the armored personnel carrier in which the soldier was traveling ran over an enemy mine, as a result of which Mikhaylo suffered severe head injuries and blast trauma. He remained conscious for three more hours after the explosion, but the defender's heart stopped at the hospital. Mikhaylo was born in the village of Kuzmyna Hreblia, Cherkasy region. He graduated from 9 grades of Kuzmynohrebelska school and entered the T.H. Shevchenko Uman Humanitarian and Pedagogical College. In 2015, he transferred to distance learning and entered the Uman Vocational Lyceum No. 9, where he obtained the profession of a car mechanic. He graduated in 2016. He was not officially employed, but he had golden hands and could do everything. In Uman, he worked as a tiler and was a skilled master. He was most interested in cars, he liked to twist nuts, and he could repair the engine himself. During the full-scale invasion, Mikhaylo defended Ukraine in the ranks of the 8th Operational Regiment named after Ivan Bohun of the National Guard of Ukraine. He was the senior mechanic-driver of the operational platoon of the operational company on armored personnel carriers. "Misha will forever remain in memory as a very sincere person, the true soul of the company. He was kind, brave, fair, purposeful, sensitive, had golden hands, and had many friends. He loved life so much, had many plans and dreams. Misha was everything to me and could replace everyone: he was a friend, a brother, and a husband. Only with you, my sunshine, did I feel like a little girl, always under protection. Only you gave me true love, only with you I was supposed to have a big family, only with you I wanted to live my whole life. It's a pity he didn't have time to share his last name... My dear soul... I love you just as strongly, even despite death. You are a Hero," said his fiancée Maria. Mikhaylo was buried next to his mother in the cemetery in his native village. The defender is survived by his father, sister, and fiancée.
