- Born on October 28, 1993, in the village of Simer, Perechyn district, Zakarpattia region. From February 10, 2004, he studied at the general education boarding school in the city of Perechyn, where he completed 9 grades in 2008. In February 2011, he graduated from the Perechyn Vocational Lyceum. From January 18, 2012, he served under contract in the 15th Separate Guards Mountain Infantry Sevastopol Battalion of the 128th Separate Guards Mountain Infantry Turkestan-Zakarpattia Red Banner Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1778, city of Uzhhorod, Zakarpattia region). From spring-summer 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On June 17, 2014, Senior Soldier Kuly died in battle with Russian-terrorist groups near the village of Metalist in the Slovianoserbsk district of Luhansk region. Along with him, Junior Sergeant Popadynec and Soldier Martyn were killed. He was buried on June 21, 2014, in the cemetery of the village of Simer, Perechyn district, Zakarpattia region. In the city of Perechyn, Zakarpattia region, on February 20, 2015, memorial plaques were opened in the building of the general education boarding school (1 Lomonosova Street) and on October 5, 2017, on the facade of the Perechyn Vocational Lyceum (8 Budivelnykiv Street), where Mykhailo Kuly studied. In the city of Perechyn, Zakarpattia region, Kolhospna Street was renamed to Mykhailo Kuly Street.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
