Mykhailo V. Kuratchenko

Kuratchenko Mykhailo Vitaliyovych was born on March 19, 1979 in Dnipropetrovsk. In 2000, he graduated from the Donetsk Institute of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine with a degree in "Law Enforcement". From 2000, he served in the pre-trial investigation bodies of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region, holding positions of middle and senior commanding staff. In 2015-2020, he served in the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region as the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Police Department and the deputy head of the Main Directorate - head of the investigative department. From January to February 2020, he served in the GUNPU of the Zaporizhia region. In February 2020, he was appointed as the head of the GUNPU in the Cherkasy region. He was killed on December 7, 2022, while detonating during stabilization measures on a cascade of enemy mines in the Kherson region.
