Biography
From 1982 to 1984, he participated in combat operations on the territory of the Republic of Afghanistan as part of the airborne assault brigade of the 40th Army of the USSR Armed Forces, and was wounded twice. In 1986, he took part in the liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster. He served in the police (in particular, in the Ministry of Internal Affairs special forces) and in the State Protection Administration, later working as the head of the security service of the enterprise "Kyiv-mlyn." He was actively involved in public life, heading the Irpin city organization of the Ukrainian Union of Afghan Veterans (internationalist soldiers). He was an active participant in the events of the Revolution of Dignity in the capital of Ukraine. With the onset of hostilities in Donbas, he organized the collection and delivery of humanitarian aid to Ukrainian servicemen operating in Luhansk as a volunteer. After one of these trips, influenced by what he saw, he remained a volunteer in the 24th Territorial Defense Battalion "Aidar."Military service
