Champion of the Vinnytsia region in arm wrestling 2013. Competed for the Vinnytsia arm wrestling club "Spartak." In 2012, organized the first open arm wrestling tournament in the city of Haisyn. An active participant in the Maidan. Lyudmyla Anatoliivna Menyuk, mother: "My son had 4 intervertebral hernias, but this only motivated him to engage in sports actively. When the war started, all the men in my family went to the military enlistment office. I tried to dissuade my son from going, to stay home and engage in volunteer activities. To which he replied: 'Gather all my medals and throw them in the trash, because one day my children will ask, why, dad, are you so strong — sitting at home instead of defending the country?'. When I was seeing him off to the front, I had a feeling that he wouldn't return… I couldn't take my eyes off my son, but it was also futile to hold him back. He only said in farewell: 'I'm sorry, mom, I love my homeland more than my family…'."
