- Born on December 19, 1980, in the village of Martinivka, Zhmerinka district, Vinnytsia region. In 1998, he graduated from the general education school of the village of Martinivka. Since 1998, he has been in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In 2002, he graduated from the Kharkiv Guards Order of the Red Banner Tank Troops Institute named after the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute." He served in the 169th Training Guards Zvenyhorodskyi Order of the Red Banner and Suvorov Center of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0665, the urban-type settlement of Desna, Kozelets district, Chernihiv region). Since September 5, 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On November 16, 2014, at about 15:00, Major Mykola Yazhuk was killed as a result of a military truck "Ural," in which he was located, running over an explosive device at the checkpoint "Hostra Mohyla" near the village of Polove, Shakhtarsk district, Donetsk region. Along with him, Lieutenant Colonel Volodymyr Rvachov, Major of the medical service Vasheniak, and soldier Oleksandr Ishchenko were also killed. On November 21, 2014, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Dubova, Zhmerinka district, Vinnytsia region. In May 2015, a memorial plaque was unveiled in the village of Martinivka, Zhmerinka district, on the facade of the general education school (Mykola Yazhuk Street, 7), where Mykola Yazhuk studied. A street in the village of Martinivka, Zhmerinka district, is named after the Hero.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
