- Born on September 6, 1981, in the village of Mytky, Bar district, Vinnytsia region. In 1998, he graduated with honors from the general education school in the village of Mytky, then from Vinnytsia Medical College with a specialty in "military paramedic." He has been serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the early 2000s. He served in the 90th artillery ammunition base of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1979, the urban-type settlement (since 2012 - city) of Chudniv, Zhytomyr region), and since February 2014, he has been the head of the medical service of the 6th training artillery regiment of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0473, the village of Divychky, Pereiaslav-Khmelnytskyi district, Kyiv region). Since October 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On November 16, 2014, around 15:00, Major of the medical service Vasheniak was killed as a result of the vehicle he was in hitting an explosive device at the checkpoint "Hostra Mohyla" near the village of Polove, Shakhtarsk district, Donetsk region. Along with him, Lieutenant Colonel Volodymyr Rvachov, Major Mykola Yazhuk, and soldier Oleksandr Ishchenko were also killed.
