Myroslav S. Mazurkevych

Mazurekevich Myroslav Stanislavovych was born on March 1, 1980, in the village of Razine, Zhytomyr district, Zhytomyr region. Since 2014, during the war in Eastern Ukraine, he was in the ATO zone. After demobilization, he returned to his native village. With the onset of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he was one of the first to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Myroslav Mazurekevich was on the front line in the Luhansk region, serving in the 95th Separate Air Assault Brigade. On March 20, 2022, he sustained serious injuries in a battle near the city of Lysychansk in the Luhansk region. Doctors tried to save the paratrooper for two days, but he died on March 22. The fallen soldier was buried on March 29, 2022, in his native village in Zhytomyr region.
