- Sergeant Myroslav Rudyi (call sign Psykh) was killed on October 20, 2023, in combat near the settlement of Nevelske in the Donetsk region. During enemy shelling, he sustained a fatal explosive injury. The defender was 31 years old. Myroslav was born in the village of Bdzhilna, Vinnytsia region. He lived in the settlement of Teplyk. He graduated from Vinnytsia National Agrarian University, obtaining a degree in food industry technology. He worked abroad in various countries. His last job was at a local pub, where he was a cook. Then he signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the full-scale war began five months before its expiration. In his free time, he was engaged in photography, was interested in tattoos and started making them for his acquaintances. But his greatest passion was the BMW E34 car. During the full-scale invasion, the man served in the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Yakov Handziuk. He held the position of senior driver of the supply section of the engineering equipment platoon of the engineering barrier company of the engineering support group. He received his call sign because he always took on the dangerous work of a sapper when others said the task was impossible, so they said "he is a psycho." During his service, the military was awarded the "Veteran of War" and "Golden Cross" insignia. "Myroslav was a man of his word and action, always cared for his family, had a cheerful character and was the center of attention in any company. He always gave me flowers for no reason and fulfilled all the wishes of his little son. His comrades respected him because there was no job that Myroslav could not do. For the last 8 months, he worked in Madyar's team, was one of the group leaders. Everything rested on him, because after his death, his comrades said that the three of them could not do the amount of work that Myroslav did alone," his wife Nadiia said. The warrior was buried in his native village of Bdzhilna. Myroslav is survived by his mother, military father, sister, wife, and son.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
