Together with his comrades-in-arms, he defended the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions. "He was a real senior sergeant of infantry. During the eight years of the war, he never shied away from learning and gained a lot of experience, went on reconnaissance missions, mined, blew up... He always gave his maximum. He was a very skilled warrior, able to manage people, properly organize positions. A real platoon commander with the inherent ingenuity and resourcefulness of the infantry. He loved to joke, laugh, tell stories like no one else. A very extraordinary person," his comrades-in-arms said. "My brother is strong, courageous, smart, fair, honest, strong-willed. He never gave up, he always knew how to solve any problem. He was a kind, loving brother and friend to me. He loved his daughter and mine, taught them to navigate life situations. It's very hard without you, brother, without your warmth, without your advice, without you the whole world has stopped... And there is pain - time does not heal... There are so few people like you on earth. You always managed to think about everyone, understand, support. We love you. Glory to the Heroes," wrote Olesya Proskuriakova.
