Biography
Luhovska Nataliia Romanivna was born on March 21, 1971 in Chervonohrad, Lviv region. After finishing the 9th grade of secondary school, she began working as a postal worker. She studied at a Catholic university in Poland, where she obtained a degree in psychology. With the outbreak of the war in eastern Ukraine, Nataliia actively volunteered, as her son was at the front in the ATO zone. She worked as a psychologist at the ATO soldiers' rehabilitation center in Sosnivka. After the death of her son Yurii, she decided to continue his work. In 2018, together with her daughter, who married an "Azov" member, Nataliia moved to the village of Yalta in the Donetsk region. In 2020, she signed a contract and became a military psychologist of the Azov regiment, where her son's comrades-in-arms served. With the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, she was in Mariupol. The woman worked as a medic, psychologist, and assisted in the work of the headquarters. Over time, she ended up in one of the Azovstal bunkers. On April 21, she received a concussion. Together with other women, she had the opportunity to leave the plant and exit Azovstal, but she refused. She died at night on May 3, 2022, during an air raid on Azovstal. She was thrown against the wall of the dining room and died instantly. For personal courage and self-sacrificing actions, shown in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath, Luhovska Nataliia Romanivna was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.Burial place
