Nazar T. Tykhonenko (Tykhon)

Sergeant Nazar Tykhonenко was killed on July 10, 2023 in a battle with the occupiers near the village of Karmazinivka in the Luhansk region. The warrior was 33 years old. Nazar was born in the village of Motovylivka, Kyiv region. He studied at the Motoslobidska school. Then he graduated from the Kyiv Technical School of Transport Construction Management. He tried himself in various professional fields. In recent years, he worked as a mechanic at the Borshchahivskyi Chemical and Pharmaceutical Plant. He was married and raised daughters. From a young age, he was fascinated by technology. He loved to work with wood. He adored nature and fishing. When the full-scale war began, the man immediately took up the defense of Ukraine. At first, he was in the territorial defense of the Kyiv region, and in December 2022 he joined the airborne assault troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He fought against the occupiers in the ranks of the 25th separate airborne Sich brigade. He carried out tasks at the forefront in various directions of the front. "Teachers loved Nazar for his sincerity and curiosity. They fondly remember how Nazar burned the class journal or managed to knock down the physics teacher on a bicycle. There were many adventures during his school years. It was impossible to be angry with him for a long time, because his smile and gaze - and everything was forgotten and forgiven. He was a caring and loving father of two princesses, to whom he dreamed of giving the best. He had many friends with whom he adored going fishing, where, admiring the landscapes, they had philosophical conversations and shared plans. Motovylivka, Motslobidka are crying, having lost their Hero... Rest in peace, our dear Nazar. Your memory will live in our hearts," wrote his fellow villagers. "This should not have happened. And the mind refuses to believe it. But Nazar Tykhonenко became a defender forever. A great and strong kind man, the father of wonderful daughters, who could not but go to the army at the call of conscience, was killed. Eternal memory and deep bow to you, Nazar," wrote his friend Serhii Ohorodnyk. "How unbearably painful it was to see you off on your last journey... Eternal memory and deep bow to you, Nazar. You will forever be in our hearts," wrote his friend Zoriana Ziranova. The warrior was buried in his native village. At home, his mother, brother, wife, two daughters, relatives and friends were waiting for him.
