- Senior Sergeant Oksana Rianska (call sign Reni) was killed on May 8, 2022, as a result of a Russian air strike on the Azovstal plant in Mariupol, Donetsk region. The defender was 35 years old. Oksana was born in Kharkiv. She graduated from the Kharkiv National Academy of Municipal Economy. She was an economist and manager in the tourism and hotel business. She worked at a bank. She was interested in psychology. She loved to embroider with beads and read. She also did manicures. In 2015, the woman decided to change her profession and joined the military service. She joined the ranks of the separate special forces unit of the National Guard of Ukraine "Azov". At first, she was a clerk, later she took the position of the head of the bath (mobile) of the logistics platoon of the logistics company. She participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation / Joint Forces Operation. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, she was in Mariupol with her unit and took part in the defense of the city. During her service, the serviceman was repeatedly awarded by the command, in particular, "For participation in the anti-terrorist operation", "War Veteran. Participant in hostilities" and the Order of Courage of the III degree (posthumously). "So many hopes, dreams, boundless thirst for life and love for everyone... And now it's all just in memories of her. Even from an early age, it was clear that she would be a very sensitive and gentle person. She loved to read and learn, everything was very important to her. Oksanka was in a hurry to live and breathe deeply. She loved animals and always tried to help everyone. She drew knowledge from various sources, loved to read various literature, studied different languages. Yes, she wanted to know as much as possible. That's why she went to get a second higher education. People were always drawn to her. Oksana lives in the memory of many friends, relatives and loved ones. She loved to weave with beads, embroider, was a support for everyone who asked her for advice. Her bright dream was to finish her studies, become a psychologist and open an animal shelter. But the war prevented this, and, unfortunately, Oksana's dreams were not destined to come true.
