Oleh F. Romanovych

Born on August 12, 1982, in the city of Dubno, Rivne region. Graduated from general education school No. 6 in Dubno, then from vocational school No. 27 in Dubno (now Dubno Vocational Lyceum). On March 10, 2015, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as the commander of a mortar platoon of the mortar battery of the 3rd mechanized battalion of the 14th separate mechanized brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1008 (field post V0259), city of Volodymyr-Volynskyi, Volyn region). From summer to autumn 2015, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On November 13, 2015, soldier Oleg Romanovych was killed at a platoon stronghold in the area of the city of Marinka, Donetsk region, from a gunshot wound incompatible with life. Along with him, senior sergeant Stanislav Osadchuk, soldier Ruslan Skotenuk, and senior sergeant Yuriy Yasan were killed. On November 20, 2015, he was buried at the Kremenets cemetery in the city of Dubno, Rivne region.
