Biography
Bandurchenko Oleg Mykolaiovych was born on December 3, 1959 in the city of Kamianske. He lived in Vilnogorsk. He studied at secondary school No. 2. After school, he graduated from the Vilnogorsk Technical School, trained as an electrician. He worked at the Vilnogorsk GMK first as an electrician, then as an energy engineer, chief engineer at the Zhylservice municipal enterprise, and at the ZBV plant. Over 5 years in the housing cooperative, he built housing for his family. Oleg Mykolaiovych always enjoyed well-deserved authority and respect in the community. He was elected a deputy of the Vilnogorsk City Council for two convocations. From a young age, he was never indifferent to the events taking place in society, to human fates. Perhaps that is why in 1989 he voluntarily went to Armenia to help people eliminate the consequences of the powerful Spitak earthquake. Oleg Bandurchenko was close to the ideas of the Orange Revolution. It was thanks to him and his like-minded people that in 2004 the flag of Vilnogorsk was in Kyiv on the Maidan among thousands of flags - symbols of change. Oleg Bandurchenko welcomed the turning changes in the state in 2013-2014. And since 2014, when a real threat of a large-scale invasion of Russia loomed over the country, he unhesitatingly went to fight for the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine in the ATO and JFO zones. Since 2014 - in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He went through the path from a simple soldier to a headquarters sergeant, commander of the 1st mortar battery of the 17th battalion of the 57th separate motorized infantry brigade named after the Kosh Otaman Kostya Hordiienko. February 2022 found Oleg Bandurchenko in the Donetsk region, then there were military actions in the Luhansk region, then their unit was transferred to the Kherson direction. He was killed on October 8, 2022 in the battle for Kherson in the area of the village of Davydiv Brid, Beryslavskyi district, Kherson region. Oleg Mykolaiovych left behind a wife, three children, two grandchildren, a mother and a sister. The farewell to the fallen took place on October 27, 2022 in the city of Vilnogorsk. Oleg Bandurchenko was buried on the Alley of Glory of the cemetery of the city of Vilnogorsk in the Dnipropetrovsk region.Military service
