- 43-year-old soldier Oleg Lukyanchuk died on October 30, 2022, near the village of Kyslivka in the Kharkiv region. While carrying out a combat mission, the soldier was killed by an explosive device and sustained fatal injuries. Oleg was born in the village of Harazhdzha in the Volyn region. He lived in Lutsk, where he completed 9 grades at secondary school No. 25 and attended a vocational technical school. He served his conscription in the border troops in Odesa. In 1999, he enlisted for contract service in the National Guard of Ukraine in Lutsk. Later, in civilian life, he worked as a cash-in-transit driver for PrivatBank. In April 2020, he decided to return to military service. He served under contract in the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Roman the Great. He held the position of driver-electrician in the unmanned aerial vehicle platoon of the command and artillery reconnaissance battery. He participated in the Joint Forces Operation. With the onset of the full-scale invasion, he continued to defend his homeland from the occupiers alongside his comrades. During his service, the soldier was awarded a commendation from the commander of the 14th Mechanized Brigade, as well as the medals "10 Years of Diligent Service" and "Defender of the Fatherland." "My dad is an example of what a real man should be. Brave, strong, and at the same time very kind. A fighter for justice and a person who would never leave you in trouble, always supportive and giving valuable advice. My dad is a ray of sunshine, always smiling and cheerful. Because of this, he had many friends. My dad is a hero. Strong in spirit and very wise. Every minute spent with my dad was filled with true energy, positive vibes, and joy. Only good moments come to mind when I remember my dad. Everyone loved him dearly, and I am proud that he raised me. Dad taught me a lot and always praised me, even for little things. This inspired me, and now I try to do everything in a way that he would be proud of me and happy, looking down from the sky," said the fallen soldier's daughter, Angelina. The warrior was buried in his native village. Oleg is survived by his wife and two daughters.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
