Oleh Yu. Zinchenko (Olovianyi)

Soldier Oleg Zinchenko (call sign Olovyanyi) was killed on December 5, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission in the Donetsk region. The warrior was forever 42 years old. Oleg was born in the city of Zaporizhzhia. He graduated from city school No. 78. In civilian life, he made furniture and was a woodworker. He led an active lifestyle and earned the rank of candidate for the title of sports master in kickboxing. He adored motorcycles and the sea. He loved to fix everything at home. At the beginning of the full-scale war, the man joined the ranks of the National Guard of Ukraine to protect his native home and loved ones. He fought as part of the 1st Presidential Brigade of the Operational Designation named after Hetman Petro Doroshenko "Bureviy". In September 2023, Oleg came home on leave, because his wife Olena had given birth to a daughter Anna, whom he had been waiting for so long. But he managed to see the child only in her first two weeks of life. For the last time, their large family gathered together on the warrior's birthday - September 28, and in the evening of the same day, he went to war. From there he returned already on a shield. The national guardsman was buried in Zaporizhzhia. The hero left behind a mother, brother, wife, two daughters and a son from his first marriage.
