Oleksandr D. Balanetskyi

Balanetskyy Oleksandr Dmytrovych was born on February 7, 1984 in the village of Valiava, Kitsman district, Chernivtsi region. From childhood, he dreamed of protecting human rights, so after graduating from the Kitsman secondary school, he entered the Precarpathian branch of the Academy of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, and later the Lviv State University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, where he obtained a law degree. He worked in the legal department of the Chernivtsi City Council as the deputy head of the department of legal support for land relations and construction. Oleksandr was a professional lawyer, a member of the Council of Advocates of Ukraine in the Chernivtsi region, and worthily represented the interests of local self-government. He died on March 20, 2022 during an offensive operation in the village of Dmytrivka, Bucha district, Kyiv region. He was buried on the Alley of Glory of the Central Cemetery in Chernivtsi.
