Biography
Oleksandr Dmytrovych Prysiazhniuk was born on March 25, 1964, in the village of Hvizdiarna, Romaniv district, Zhytomyr region. He graduated from Yasnohorodska secondary school. In 1981-1982, he studied at the Vocational and Technical Education Center in Zhytomyr, specializing in "Electrician". In 1982, he served in the tank troops. After army service, he graduated from a tank school. He started his career at the Zhytomyr Chemical Fiber Plant. Most of his life, Oleksandr Prysiazhniuk worked at the Zhytomyr Tram and Trolleybus Administration as a track fitter. He then got a job at the Zhytomyr Meat Processing Plant as a gardener. With the start of the full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war, he volunteered for the front. Oleksandr was sent to the 9th Tank Battalion as a platoon commander of a tank company. Together with his unit, Oleksandr went on a mission but did not return. He was killed in action on July 4, 2022, near the city of Sloviansk. On July 20, 2022, he was buried at the Smolianskyi Military Cemetery in Zhytomyr.Burial place
